Nurtured Nest's childbirth class is one of a kind!
Our instructors have helped expectant families for a combined 45+ years...and they’re all parents themselves. We cover the nitty gritty of labor, childbirth, and postpartum, so you’re as ready as you can be. We also touch on how different cultures and generations view childbirth and the postpartum period, so you can navigate those complexities with grace.

This class will teach you how to:
  • Prepare for giving birth–mentally, physically, and logistically
  • Identify 3rd trimester symptoms
  • Name the stages of labor and their typical symptoms, knowing when it’s “go time”
  • Differentiate between methods of pain management
  • Navigate the stages of birth, with a medical team (both vaginal & cesarean)
  • Maximize the benefits of The Golden Hour
  • Care for your body and spirit in the days and weeks immediately after both vaginal & cesarean births
  • Implement strategies for grown-up self-care during birth and postpartum
  • Seek help from trusted sources when needed

Our class is on-demand. You will have access to all videos and resources for a full year from purchase. See all that is included.

Why on-demand? Because adult's brains are similar to a muscle, they need alternating periods of rest and recovery to synthesize new ideas and concepts. When learners receive information in short chunks, rest, reflect, then return is how adults learn best.

Nurtured Nest Parent Google Review
Before watching their Childbirth + Postpartum class, I felt VERY underprepared and a little terrified of labor and delivery. After finishing the course, I feel way more confident and now have an arsenal of tools to help with labor and delivery.

...even though I'm not a new mom (currently pregnant with our 2nd child), I still learned lot of useful information that I didn't know before! Being a person that often googles information, there was also comfort in knowing that the info I got from the classes came from professionals that specialize in the topics covered. I love the vision and inspiration behind this organization, and that the classes are created by the experts...
